چکیده
INTRODUCTION: High-energy comminuted fractures are complex injuries to treat. Successful clinical outcomes are most likely when the original anatomy is restored, with mechanically sound fixation. Fragments are often displaced through soft tissues that have been injured and that are extremely sensitive to a secondary surgical insult. Therefore, it is important to pre-operatively plan how fragments are to best be repositioned, restoring anatomy while minimizing the surgical insult.
